About Robert B. Florian

Robert B. Florian (1930-2014) taught history at Salem International University from 1958 to 2000, retiring to pastor five small Methodist churches. Born in Connecticut, he was educated at Adrian College, Michigan, and Garrett Theological Seminary, Illinois, with a history Ph.D from WVU. He co-authored a history of United Methodism in West Virginia.
